Highland Dancing

A page extracted from "The Navy and Army Illustrated" of 1896. The text describes the origin and form of "The Reel of Four", Reel of Tulloch" and "The Gillie Callum". Three accompanying illustrations show the dances being performed my members of a Highland regiment.

An article (by Jimmie Hill) extracted from the Scottish Country Dancer (Autumn 2017) describing the involvement of a team of Edinburgh school children in the Jubilee event. Included are copies of correspondence with Edinburgh City Council, copies of photographs taken during the journey and at the event in Paris and a reproduction of an Edinburgh Evening News report on the event.
