McGill Manuscript

A MS (ca 1752 ) written by John McGill, Dance Master. Report of the Edinburgh Schools Scottish Country Dancers Participation in the Jubilee Celebrations of the FIOCES, Paris March 1950

An article (by Jimmie Hill) extracted from the Scottish Country Dancer (Autumn 2017) describing the involvement of a team of Edinburgh school children in the Jubilee event. Included are copies of correspondence with Edinburgh City Council, copies of photographs taken during the journey and at the event in Paris and a reproduction of an Edinburgh Evening News report on the event.
