The Dance Diaries of Christina McKellar April 1919 to February 1927
A transcription of the diaries of Christina McKellar by her son Gordon Simpson. The diaries record the dances that she attended in the Cairndow and Strachur area of Argyll during the period 1919 to 1927.
The diaries contain details of the dances she danced and her partners.

This bookl gives a topical commentary on mid-nineteenth-century ballroom dance. There is a description of the French quadrille. A review of round dances: the polka, waltz and mazurka is given. Steps and figures for the Quadrille, mazurka-Quadrille are provided along with figures for the Cotillion. Illustrated with 11 plates: design by Gavari , engraving by Lavielle.
