The Reel of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo The Gallant Cameron

Two dances devised by Iain Robertson and Published by Rae Macintosh & Co., Edinburgh. The Reel of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo first danced at the 1957 Edinburgh Tattoo and inscribed to Brigadier Alastair G L Maclean, CBE, Military Tattoo Director. The Gallant Cameron, a processional dance inscribed to the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. Music included for the Reel devised by the author.

Scottish Dance Archives Leaflet Dances

Leaflet dances published by the Scottish Dance Archives, Editors S E Clowes and R A Donald. Dances published between1972 and 1981 (numbers 1 to 190) with an index for1972-1982. The index is in two parts; an alphabetic listing of the dances and a classified index which groups the dances into categories as suitable for: Demonstration, Advanced, Intermediate, Beginners, Children. In addition there are several discussion sheets about various topics related to SCD, and a valedictory letter, dated September 1982, from R A Donald announcing the closure of the Scottish Dance Archives .

Report of the Edinburgh Schools Scottish Country Dancers Participation in the Jubilee Celebrations of the FIOCES, Paris March 1950

An article (by Jimmie Hill) extracted from the Scottish Country Dancer (Autumn 2017) describing the involvement of a team of Edinburgh school children in the Jubilee event. Included are copies of correspondence with Edinburgh City Council, copies of photographs taken during the journey and at the event in Paris and a reproduction of an Edinburgh Evening News report on the event.
